Pellet stove auger feed rate reducer.
This controller installs on almost any pellet stove with a vacuum safety switch or a hopper lid switch. It will allow you to adjust the pellet feed rate to lower than factory settings.
I’ve sold hundreds of these previously, this is a new and updated model. No permanent modifications to your stove need to be made for installation. Simple one wire hookup.
I love my pellet stove, but the lowest setting is too much heat on warmer days or when my house reaches a comfortable temperature. This controller will allow you to lower the feed rate of the auger for lower heat output and longer run times with a push of a button. Works great as an “away” or “nighttime” setting.
Simple operation, push the button and the controller slows the auger, push the button again and the stove goes back to its normal program. This controller will not interfere with the pellet stoves normal operation when off, and will only affect the auger speed rate when on.  It does not modify or change the factory settings of the stove or override safety features.
The unit is designed so that if it ever fails, the stove will operate as it normally would. The relay on the device is rated for over a million cycles.
The controller is fully adjustable by the user, but comes preprogrammed for most stoves. The unit operates off of a USB plug (not included…who doesn’t have a half dozen in the junk drawer anyway?)
If you can clean your stove, you can install this controller.
Detailed instructions included. But it is this simple:
1-locate the vacuum or hopper safety switch on your stove
2-unplug one of the spade terminals from the switch (either one)
3-plug one wire (either wire) from the controller into the now empty connector
4-plug the wire you pulled off of the vacuum or hopper safety switch into the other wire on the controller
5-route the wire outside of the stove making sure it is not in contact with anything hot and plug the power cord into a USB plug
The unit will sit on the floor or can be attached to any cool area of the stove with the magnetic back.
The controller interrupts the signal from the hopper or vacuum safety switch for several seconds, shutting the auger down until it receives the signal again (both the on and off times can be independently set) The controller will not affect the safety operation/functions of the hopper or vacuum safety switch, both will still operate normally.
I have hundreds of these controllers in use for multiple seasons, I have only ever had to replace one for a customer. Check out my feedback, it’s 100% for a reason.
Instructions on how to adjust the controllers output will also be included in the instructions.
I initially designed this for my personal stove, a Castle Serenity. The lowest setting on the stove would push the temperature in my house to over 80 degrees on a warmer winter day. A temperature gauge on the firebox on the side of the stove showed the lowest setting kept the firebox at about 280 degrees, I was able to lower the output to 150 degrees, just with the simple push of a button. When the controller is active, I am able to run for 34 hours on a bag of pellets versus about 22 normally on low. This controller will pay for itself in short order.
The only downside? Since the stove is burning cooler, there will be a quicker buildup of soot on the glass.
Sold for and installed on dozens of makes and models of stoves to include:
Ashley
Breckwell
King
US Stove
Castle
Harman
Quadra-fire
St Croix
Pelpro
Englander
Vogelzang
Have a stove not on this list? Just ask, a little research is all it takes. Have a 3 wire vacuum or hopper lid switch? No problem, let me know make and model and I will let you know which wires to use.
Can also be wired directly into the auger motor itself. (Motor on for a second, off for several seconds). The relay is rated for 120v AC. I have sold these to customers who have control boards that have burnt out and are extremely expensive to replace. If you plan on doing that type of modification to your stove, the controller will need heavier wire installed on it, let me know before hand. No extra charge.
Note- Cannot be used on a thermal  snap disk (over/under temp detector) as this will initiate a shutdown of the stove.
Most people who own and operate a pellet stove are fairly savvy with cleaning and maintaining them, and understand how they work. Just note- you are modifying the normal operation of your stove, due so at your own risk.
