LOPI republic 1750 + 1750i door Glass ceramic for Wood Stove fireplace

This is a new glass with new Ceramic glass (Robax). glass is 3/16 thick and 15 3/8 X 9 1/4 in the center and 8 on the rt and left ends with an arch top. This glass fits the "REPUBLIC 1750 & 1750i insert" stove by Lopi. #250-00172 We buy large sheets of ceramic stove glass by the case direct from the ceramic glass distributer. We cut them to size and wet sand the edges for a safe custom fit. this is the same high temp glass used by Lopi for a fraction of the cost.

Tempered glass is generally limited to applications that do not exceed 500F. However, ROBAX® is designed to operate at temperatures ranging from minus 400F. to plus 1400F.
Glass-ceramic was invented in the 1960s.
