Fits the following pellet stoves: Enviro - EF1 - EF2 - EF3 - EF4, EF5 (Evolution) - Solus - VistaFlame - Regency Replaces Enviro part # EF4i-015 and EF5-110 The 120°F igniter temperature sensor (switch) is installed on the air channel behind the back panel. If your pellet stove shuts down, that could be because one of your limit switches have shut the unit down. This could be the Ceramic Ignition Temperature Sensor or the combustion exhaust fan sensor.
Pellet stoves operate with a complex control system that includes high limit, fan temperature sensors, and safety switches. Also, a vacuum switch is needed to monitor the combustion to avoid Carbon Dioxide CO2 poisoning. The controls for your stove operate under very harsh conditions: exposure to extreme heat, vibration and power surges with high ampere draw.
Vacuum- and safety switches become less reliable as time passes and begin to operate erratically, causing mysterious shut-downs of a pellet stove. I
